Klaarland Priory: new production areas
In order to meet the growing demand for their artisanal products, Klaarland Priory has recently opened new production areas for jams and cookies/biscuits. The sisters added an extension (sustainable construction with a timber frame) to the back of the monastery building, and at the same time renovated two adjoining, existing rooms. The result is a larger production area for processing jams and fruit, a small bakery with adjoining packaging area for cookies/biscuits, and increased storage capacity for jams, packaging materials, and raw materials. New professional labels (with a barcode) will soon be used for the jams.
